The Situation
Secured Transport Logistics reached out to Edge IT following a recommendation when a change in the company’s internal structure presented them with a potential IT headache. The Letchworth logistics experts wanted to separate their Microsoft 365 into two entities, keeping the data independent, as well as having an accelerated onboarding period once the transition was completed. What they didn’t want was to lose business with emails temporarily going into the ether during the transition.
The Project
A full migration of all data for the company was lifted from the tenant and migrated with archival history maintained to a new Microsoft 365 account. Staff emails were reconfigured with access provided to the new account. The result was a smooth and almost seamless migration with staff ready to resume work on the Monday morning with no issues.
